IC 03: D is for DELICIOUS!

[powerpress]Episode Description:

She’s comin’, she’s comin’, she’s comin’ to the planet….

We are in overjoyed cartwheel prostrations to welcome Marci Davis as our special guest for Episode Three. Marci is truly a rare gem, an Integral veteran, an amazing mother, and wife to Integral Artist Stuart Davis. She has also been a lead actress in Open Marriage, Open Wound, Sex, God, Rock n Roll, and of course, the hilarious mockumercial Vibra Vac. Marci is not only an amazing teacher of dance, but her true teaching is about love, joy, integrity, and transparency.

In our interview segment, 15 Minutes of Fame, Marci shares that her deal is not only what she does, but who she is, uniquely, as Marci. And we couldn’t agree more. There is something seriously special about Marci, and she shares her thoughts and laughter on her natural optimistic disposition, the tsunami wave of life force coursing through her body, and how she grounds and shares her unique gifts with her family and the world.

One of the things we appreciate most about Marci is her dedication and love of her two young daughters and husband. Marci shares the Integral practices that they engage to avoid the typical family pitfalls – chaos, loss of self-care and individual identity, and losing the shared intimacy of partners in the consuming territory of parenting. This should be required listening for anyone who is a parent or planning on becoming one!

But most of all…it’s just straight up energizing and happiness-making to be in the presence of Marci, and we’re so happy to share her wide joy with our listeners.

…All the light will bake your body, she’s got, BIG WATTS of LOVE….

Mmmmmm…M is for Delicious too!

After those juicy bits…listen up:

Yes, and embodying beauty in your 60’s is just as potent, challenging and unique. I appreciated the 1-2-3 of beauty practice, especially the 2nd person perspective. How rarely I think to tell even very dear ones of their beauty. And Marci’s generous outpouring of energy is the perfect context for this consideration.

    Another stimulating podcast!

a lot of life force flows thru marci because she’s open to it and receives it and knows how to work with it and release it .. seemingly so naturally and beautifully .. the same life force that is available to any and everyone if we could but open to it and receive it and work with it and release it like marci does .. what a true inspiration . deep bows and blessings

I like the 123 method – makes sense of the intuitive method I use to coach people with diseases like anorexia and bulimia. Intelligent women – but with a deep inability to ingest their own sweetness. So I get them to ingest sweetness from their environment first ( a sunset has no calories) Then the sweetness of a loving friendship. Then ( usually much later) the sweetness/beauty of themselves.
After that – ingesting food seems easy : )

So thanks – I’m constantly grateful for finding a cognitive model that explains the vagaries of my intuition…
